I agree, I don’t think you’ll ever grow up… in some ways, but in others, I think you grow up more than you know…for example, your walk with Christ, your understanding of God. But at the same time, I wish that we could remain childish in these parts. I help with the kids at church a lot, and I’m always blown away by the fact that they don’t really ask questions about God…It seems like they already understand him on a level that, as you get older, goes away and you have to get it back on your own. You know what I mean?
Zane,
This video is really awesome. I’m blown away by how God’s transformed your life, from all the stuff you were into before and now you’re living a life where, no matter what you do, you’re doing it for Christ, it’s amazing! God’s done some pretty amazing stuff in your life, and you’ve touched more people than you probably know. Just by going and listening to you at D2S, I’ve come to know Christ better, I’ve remembered why I need Christ in my life, and that I need to live it everyday! I’ve also realized that I’m being called out to do more, and even though I’m only 15, I think God is telling me he wants me to go into youth ministry as a career when I’m older. And it’s really hard to make that big of decision, especially in high school, because as teenagers we tend to think we can do anything and we don’t need God, or it’s not cool to be such a “Jesus-freak”, and it gets discouraging at times, but this video seems to help. It helps to hear you talk about how you’ve turned down two sponcors because you knew you had something bigger and better to do, helping teenagers come to know Christ. And by doing that, you’ve probably made a bigger impact on the world than if you had gone into professional snowboarding, I know you’ve impacted my life anyway. Keep doing what you’re doing!
